Orthodontic Assistant - Dental Assistant

Busciglio Smiles invites you to join our team as a full-time Orthodontic Assistant - Dental Assistant in Fish Hawk, FL. Since 1972, we have been committed to providing exceptional pediatric and orthodontic care.

The typical schedule for this role is Monday through Thursday, with occasional Fridays as needed. This position will require travel to our locations in Brandon, Lithia, Apollo, and Plant City.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1+ year(s) of related experience
• Florida radiology license
• Experience as an orthodontic assistant
• Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification
• Some dental experience
• Kind, caring, and compassionate attitude
• Proactive team player
• Strict attention to detail

AVERAGE DAY AS AN ORTHODONTIC ASSISTANT - DENTAL ASSISTANT

In this role, you will work closely with our experienced doctors to deliver high-quality patient care. You will prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist with clinical procedures throughout the day. Responsibilities will also include taking x-rays and performing other expanded dental functions as required. You will have the opportunity to educate patients on the importance of maintaining their oral health at home, travel between offices as necessary, and contribute to a welcoming and compassionate atmosphere for both patients and your colleagues.
