We are seeking an experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) to provide PRN home health visits in the Tampa area.

What You'll Do

As a Home Health COTA, you will:

  • Provide skilled occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
  • Follow individualized treatment plans and physician orders.
  • Help patients improve activities of daily living, functional mobility, coordination, strength, and independence.
  • Provide therapeutic activities and exercises according to the patient's plan of care.
  • Educate patients and caregivers regarding exercises, adaptive techniques, home safety, and fall prevention.
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate changes or concerns to the supervising OT and clinical team.
  • Participate in coordination of care with other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Complete accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
  • Promote patient safety, independence, and quality of life in the home environment.

What You Need

  • Active Florida COTA/OTA license.
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current NBCOT certification or eligibility, as applicable.
  • Minimum 1 year of home health experience required.
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with the clinical team.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Current auto insurance.
  • AHCA Level II Background Screening.

Pay: $45 per visit
