Job DetailsLevel: EntryJob Location: Marietta, OH 45750Auditor: The Auditor role has the primary responsibility of learning and applying technical audit skills while working as part of the audit team under close coaching and supervision. Duties/Responsibilities: Work on client matters as assigned by the Firm including working on sections of audits and AUP engagements. Learn accounting and audit standards, updates, and regulatory changes. Use Firm resources to find answers to issues. Demonstrate a sense of urgency, accuracy, thoroughness, and efficiency. Attend training courses assigned by the Firm and work with manager to build continuing education plan. Use Firm’s personal professional development program to continuously improve technical and interpersonal skills. Model the Firm’s core values. Promote the Firm with our clients, business associates and through civic activities. Prepares and updates library of findings upon completion of audit reports. Manage UAN (Uniform Accounting Network) flies, prepare and tracking extensions MOA’s (Modification of Audit), etc. Understands personal productivity metrics and adheres to project timelines to meet goals. Exhibits behaviors aligned the core values of the firm. Performs other related duties as assigned. QualificationsRequired Skills/Abilities: Basic accounting knowledge such as debits and credits. Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required. No Experience necessary. (On the job training will be provided.) Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
