Job DetailsJob Location: Marietta, OH 45750Senior Tax Associate: The Senior Tax Associate is an experienced accountant; highly experienced and masters the job of public accounting and tax preparation. This position will be degree in accounting/business and may provide financial consulting to clients and training to lower-level accountants. Supervisory Responsibilities: May have basic oversight with interns. Duties/Responsibilities: Work on client matters assigned by the Firm including spending substantial time supporting the tax area and/or assuming responsibility on accounting engagements. Exhibit ownership in projects for internal and external clients as demonstrated by sense of urgency to needs and requests and thoroughness, accuracy, and efficiency in work product. Treat colleagues and clients with respect and interact positively and professionally. Take initiative to assists others in completing assignments whenever possible. Seek out feedback and view it as an opportunity to learn. Assist in Firm administration and management as requested as well as some business development opportunities. QualificationsRequired Skills/Abilities: Ability to analyze and interpret general business periodicals/journals, technical procedures and/or governmental regulations. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios. Ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required. Must obtain EA or working towards EA Preferred working toward CPA Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
