Underground Maintenance Technician

Jennmar Services is currently seeking an experienced Underground Maintenance Technician to join our team. We are looking for a dependable, safety-minded individual with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience in an underground mining environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of underground maintenance experience required

• Current MSHA Electrical Card required

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing underground mining equipment

• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge

• Ability to diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs efficiently

• Experience with preventative maintenance and equipment inspections

• Ability to work safely in an underground mining environment

• Must follow all company, mine-site, and MSHA safety policies and procedures

• Must be dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on underground mining equipment

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues

• Complete preventative maintenance and scheduled equipment repairs

• Inspect equipment and identify potential safety or mechanical concerns

• Repair and replace electrical and mechanical components as needed

• Minimize equipment downtime through timely troubleshooting and repairs

• Maintain a clean and safe work area

• Complete required maintenance documentation

• Follow all MSHA regulations and site-specific safety procedures

REQUIRED

Applicants MUST have 3–5 years of relevant underground maintenance experience AND possess a current MSHA Electrical Card to be considered.
