Responsibilities

  • Responsible to work with both operations and maintenance to assure production and quality goals are achieved without interruption for lack of materials or services. 
  • Assure the supply of adequate spare parts inventory, while monitoring spare parts inventory dollar levels. 
  • Require that the storeroom keep adequate records for reordering of supplies for inventory.
  • Will prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
  • Will supervise Storeroom Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Must be able to plan, organize, manage and evaluate purchasing activities and the budget of an organization
  • Must comply with the organization's purchasing policies, procedures, standards and strategies in order to ensure process transparency, fairness, impartiality and confidentiality
  • Must possess the following skills in:  negotiation, persuasion, supervision, active listening, learning, critical thinking and ethical behavior
