Processes specimens to be sent to reference labs. Cleans and stocks pick-up carts and trays. Orders lab tests in the computer. Receives laboratory specimens. Job Responsibilities: Demonstrates specific specimen collection skills as listed and in accordance with the laboratory assistant manual.        2.     Demonstrates specific specimen processing skills as listed and in accordance with the laboratory assistant manual.        3.     Demonstrates specific laboratory outpatient skills as listed and in accordance with the laboratory assistant manual. 4.     Represents the department in a professional manner. QualificationsEducation Requirements and Other Requirements:                 Education Level:                 High School diploma or equivalent.                 Certification/Licensure: BLS                               Experience Requirements:                Paramedical training preferred.
