Job DetailsJob Location: Main - MASON, OH 45040Position Type: Full TimeGeneral Purpose of Position: To develop, expand and manage customer business relationships within given accounts while growing the sales/profitability at each account. Primary Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions): Duties/Responsibilities 1 Establish, grow, and manage the business relationships with key personnel at assigned accounts 2 Manage the day-to-day needs of each customer (backorders, invoicing/credit issues, shipping issues, etc.) to ensure each account remains a satisfied partner 3 Identify and develop new, profit-generating business relationships that help evolve/expand Prasco’s products and services 4 Help create and execute the vision for selling Prasco products in a vastly changing marketplace 5 Recommend, and, as necessary, attend trade shows in support of key trade accounts or industry organizations 6 Gather and continually provide feedback to senior management and internal sales teams to assist in making sound business decisions 7 Serve as a mentor to internal sales team to better understand our business from the customer’s perspective 8 Stay current with regulatory changes, business news, and trade opportunities QualificationsTravel: Position may require 40-50% travel Work Shift: This position works days. Monday – Friday. Onsite in Mason, OH Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: A firm understanding of pharmaceutical industry Strong communication (both written and verbal), negotiation and presentation skills are a necessity Experience in developing sales and account strategies Organized and self-motivated Must practice good listening and follow-up skills Additional desired personal traits: competitive, aggressive, empathetic, committed, analytical & creative Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree. MBA or other master’s degree a plus. Prior sales and/or customer relationship experience (5 or more years) required Pharmaceutical industry experience is helpful (2 years or more) Physical Demands and Work Environment: Ability to sit at desk for extended periods of time Extended viewing of computer screens and manual dexterity to operate office equipment Ability to perform minimal lifting (typically less than 25 pounds), walking, and physical exertion (bending, kneeling, twisting, climbing) specific to physical inventories and related work Good eyesight and critical thinking to read and interpret business documents and data Must have the ability to adjust focus for unplanned activities and other duties as assigned GENERAL INFORMATION: The expectation for all employees is to support the company’s mission, vision, culture, and core values while adhering to all company policies.
