Job DetailsJob Location: Mattawan, MI 49071Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: Apprenticeship / Trade SchoolTravel Percentage: NoneJob Category: Skilled Labor - Trades1st Shift - Mol-Son, Mattawan, Michigan We’re looking for a skilled CNC EDM Sinker Specialist to join our Tool Room Team.  In this role, you’ll program, set-up, and operate CNC EDM equipment to manufacture precision tooling and mold components that support high quality, efficient production. Manufacture precision tooling, mold components, and fixtures to engineering specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, and engineering drawings. Diagnose machining and programming issues and implement effective solutions. Inspect completed components using precision measuring equipment to ensure dimensional Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Experience in programming and operating CNC EDM equipment (sinker EDM). Strong knowledge of tooling, machining practices, and precision manufacturing. Ability to read blue prints and work to close tolerances. Experience with CAD/CAM software and precision measuring instruments. Knowledge of injection molding process and tooling requirements. Strong mechanical aptitude with problem solving ability. A team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills. High attention to detail and strong commitment to quality work. Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively. Well-organized and self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently. Education and Experience Requirements Highschool diploma or equivalent Experience operating CNC EDM equipment.
