Infant Assistant Teacher - North Canton Child Development Center

In search of

Infant Assistant Teacher who has a passion for working with infants and their families in a caring, educational setting that is rooted in the mission of the YMCA, a non-profit, charity organization.

Hours/Shift:

Monday through Friday 1-6:30pm and 2-6:30pm

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• Completed high school or GED program
• Ability to pass a background check and physical

Who Are We Looking For?

Individuals who will...

• Serve as a caring adult presence for children ages six weeks to twelve months by inspiring learning that promotes a child's physical, social and cognitive development.
• Works cooperatively with Lead Teacher in implementing and developing daily lessons and activities that meets the needs of the group.
• Build relationships with parents and other adults in order to foster a supportive environment for each child.
• Be a part of an amazing team of staff focused on supporting children as they grow and learn.
• Execute State Licensing and Step Up to Quality requirements in order to provide a quality care environment.

Starting Pay:

$12.30/hour

*** Part-time staff receive complimentary memberships and discounted rates for child care and most programs.
