We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial drywall and metal framing projects from contract award through final closeout. This role is responsible for managing every phase of project execution, including scheduling, budgeting, procurement, subcontractor coordination, and client communication, while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, and other interior construction trades. You will work closely with general contractors, owners, architects, suppliers, and field teams to deliver high-quality commercial interior projects.

Responsibilities
  • Manage commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceiling, and interior finish projects from contract award through final completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and execution strategies.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documents to verify scope and identify potential issues.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project budgets, labor productivity, material procurement, subcontractor performance, and overall financial performance.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, pay applications, and project documentation.
  • Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor quality, safety, productivity, and schedule performance.
  • Identify project risks and implement solutions to minimize impacts on cost, quality, and schedule.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to clients and company leadership.
  • Coordinate punch-list completion, warranties, final documentation, project turnover, and closeout activities.
  • 3+ years of project management experience in commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, commercial flooring, or related interior construction trades.
  • Commercial drywall and metal framing project management experience is required.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, contracts, procurement, and cost control.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Experience managing multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
