Position Summary:

The Nurse Practitioner provides clinical support to the Wound Care Division. Position includes providing patient care in a clinic, inpatient rounding, and long-term care facilities. Shares responsibility with attending physicians for performing routine medical examinations and procedures, conducting and evaluating interval histories, communicating treatment plans, obtaining lab tests, and ensuring comprehensive care.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Licensed as an RN, MSN degree and certification as a Nurse Practitioner required (must include Certification and prescriptive authority) Required
  • State of Tennessee licensure is Required
  • 2 years of Wound Care experience preferred
