Job Summary:Ā The Controller will plan and direct the accounting operations at the assigned facilities.Ā 

Duties/Responsibilities:Ā 

  • Leads the facilities’ closing process and ensures financial reporting meets corporate deadlines andĀ complies withĀ corporate policiesĀ Ā 

  • Produces periodic financial reports; ensures the reported resultsĀ comply withĀ generally acceptedĀ accounting principles and international financial reporting standardsĀ Ā 

  • Performs analyses and prepares accounting journal entries related toĀ numerousĀ areas (prepaids, accruals, payroll, inventory, etc.)Ā Ā 

  • Performs monthly account reconciliationsĀ Ā 

  • Produces budgets and forecasts; follows up on deviationsĀ Ā 

  • Lead the development of quarterly forecasts for assigned locationsĀ 

  • Analyze actual results vs.Ā forecastsĀ and prepare variance analyses.Ā 

  • IdentifyĀ financial trends, risks, and opportunities, providing recommendations for action.Ā 

  • Partner with operations to analyze various production metricsĀ 

  • Prepare and presentĀ ad hocĀ costĀ analyses and reportsĀ 

  • Reconcile inventory balances across ERP system and physical counts.Ā 

  • Analyze and report inventory reserves (slow-moving, obsolete).Ā 

  • Provide cost data for make‑vs‑buy decisions, pricing updates, and profitability analysisĀ 

  • Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.Ā

Education and Experience:Ā 

  • BachelorsĀ degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.Ā 

  • Five years or more of related experienceĀ requiredĀ 

  • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to learnĀ new technologiesĀ Ā 

  • Experience of (Infor) Visual ERP is a plusĀ

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ā 

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.Ā 

  • ProficientĀ in accounting and tax preparation software.Ā 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.Ā
