Position Type: Part-Time / Full-Time (based on availability)

Job Description:
My Kids Childcare Inc is seeking a dependable and caring Childcare Cook to join our team. The primary responsibility of this position is to prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for children in a licensed childcare setting. This role is essential in supporting the health, well-being, and daily routine of our children.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve Breakfast, Morning Snack, Lunch, and PM Snack in accordance with childcare licensing and CACFP guidelines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen at all times
• Follow proper food handling, storage, and safety procedures
• Accommodate food allergies and special dietary needs as required
• Keep accurate meal and kitchen records
• Assist with menu planning and inventory as needed

Optional Additional Duties (Pay Increase Available):
These duties are not required, but opportunities for additional hours and increased pay are available if interested:

• Driving children (must meet driving and licensing requirements)
• Assisting teachers in the classroom with daily activities and supervision

Qualifications:

• Experience cooking in a childcare, school, or commercial kitchen preferred (but not required)
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Reliable, responsible, and child-focused
• Must pass background checks and meet state licensing requirements
