Role Overview

We are seeking a licensed mental health therapist to provide virtual services to adults throughout Connecticut. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule and the opportunity to build meaningful, ongoing therapeutic relationships with clients.

The clinician will work with individuals experiencing a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, stress, and significant life transitions. You will have the autonomy to apply your clinical judgment while collaborating with the broader care team when additional consultation is appropriate.

Primary Functions

  • Conduct scheduled individual therapy sessions through telehealth
  • Complete initial evaluations and obtain relevant clinical information
  • Identify treatment priorities and establish appropriate, measurable goals
  • Apply therapeutic interventions based on each client’s presentation and needs
  • Evaluate progress and modify treatment approaches when clinically appropriate
  • Maintain accurate, timely progress notes and required clinical records
  • Assess risk and follow established safety and escalation procedures when necessary
  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related clinical field
  • Current Connecticut LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC license
  • Clinical experience working directly with individuals in a mental health setting
  • Strong ability to build rapport and communicate effectively through virtual care
  • Confidence making independent clinical decisions and managing an ongoing caseload
