Shift: (Full-time, 40 hrs., per week), days, evenings, flexible shift.

Work Location: University of Miami Health System & Clinics - Slyvester Comprehensive Cancer Center (SCCC) - Crohns & Colitis

CORE JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Oversees scheduling workflow of all departmental patient schedulers.

2. Provides daily pending orders and scheduling reports to Manager. Provides first available reports on a weekly basis or as needed to Manager.

3. Triages diagnostic technologist worklist schedule on a daily basis to ensure there are no discrepancies on the schedule.

4. Works with EGAIN web-based system to constantly monitor phone volumes, agents for quality assurance on a daily basis.

5. Performs quality assurance checks on calls and provide individual reports for each assigned agent on a weekly basis.

6. Assists Supervisor with the introduction and implementation of new techniques and procedures for scheduling, ensuring all staff are competent.

7. Assists Supervisor in conducting performance improvement meetings concerning scheduling workflows.

8. Assists Supervisor in maintaining proper scheduling staffing levels.

9. Provides leadership, education, and orientation to all new scheduling staff. 10. Acts as a role model for all patient schedulers and supports all managerial decisions by promoting a team effort and open lines of communications.

11. Assists the Supervisor with employee performance evaluations on a weekly and yearly basis.

12. Ensures staff utilizes departmental guidelines for consistency.

13. Provides STAT overbook slots for all radiology modalities to all patient schedulers.

14. Edits database and software templates as needed when supervisors, manager are unavailable.

15. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent/relevant experience, certification or license

Certification and Licensing:

Experience:
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience required
