Maggie’s Farm is looking for a dependable, hardworking Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. You’ll help prepare fresh ingredients, keep the kitchen organized, and support the line cooks in delivering consistently great food. We are looking for someone with high volume experience, as this is an incredibly busy location.
Previous kitchen experience is helpful, but we’re willing to train the right person. The ideal candidate is reliable, works efficiently, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
Responsibilities:
- Wash, chop, portion, and prepare ingredients
- Follow recipes and established preparation standards
- Label, date, rotate, and properly store food
- Stock kitchen stations and assist with inventory
- Maintain a clean and organized prep area
- Follow food-safety and sanitation procedures
- Assist line cooks and other team members as needed
- Complete opening and closing prep duties

Requirements
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Strong attention to cleanliness and food quality
- Able to follow recipes and instructions
- Comfortable standing for extended periods
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Available to work [mornings/evenings/weekends/holidays]
- Restaurant or food-preparation experience preferred but not required
