Summary/Objective
The role of the ministry nurse is to work closely with the staff and volunteers to maintain and ensure a healthy and safe environment for our children. The nurse will primarily work on the weekends (10-12 hours a week or less) with occasional daytime/evening meetings and special events. This individual will have a passion to minister to our families as they discuss sometimes sensitive topics that affect their lives. This role is a sweet opportunity for ministry.

What you will be doing:
- Evaluate children's health concerns and speak to parents about it if needed.
- Decide if a child is putting other children's health or safety at risk and communicate with parents if needed.
- Be proactive to improve and maintain safety and healthy guidelines at Southeast Christian Church.
- Assist staff or volunteers whenever needed with health concerns for adults or kids.
- Operate and monitor medical equipment and help perform diagnostic tests. May also take pulses, temperatures, and blood pressures.
What we are looking for:
- Nursing experience, especially with children, is helpful
- Passion to minister to families is essential
Our Requirements:
- Must be an active licensed Registered Nurse
- CPR certified (up to date)
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Experience within/around a large church environment.
- Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church, or willing to become one
