We are seeking a Senior Banking Transformation Manager to join our Enterprise Program Management Office as a trusted partner to our Treasury Management organization. This role provides strategic leadership for complex, cross‑functional initiatives, ensuring programs are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Senior Banking Transformation Manager is accountable for program design and execution, resource planning, and risk mitigation, while driving high performance, resolving critical issues, and ensuring alignment with the bank’s overarching corporate strategy.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the assembly and coordination of cross‑functional project teams, optimizing resource allocation and managing deliverables through appropriate program and project management tools
  • Track, assess, and communicate program performance to executive leadership and key stakeholders, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, and resource utilization
  • Partner closely with business leaders and delivery teams to proactively identify issues, develop solutions, and remove obstacles to execution
  • Coach and mentor project managers and delivery teams to ensure outcomes are achieved on time, within budget, and to established quality standards
  • Provide people leadership by hiring, developing, and performance‑managing team members; oversee departmental programs and projects through direct reports and subordinate leaders

 

Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of treasury management and payments technology, and the ability to clearly connect them to real business needs and outcomes
  • Demonstrated success leading and delivering large‑scale, complex transformation initiatives in an enterprise environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project and program management disciplines, including methodologies, scope management, business case development, financial tracking, scheduling, and resource planning
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline plus 10+ years of relatable experience. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
  • Proven leadership and people management experience, including team development and performance management

This position is fully in office (5 days a week) at the Zions Technology Center - 7860 South Bingham Junction Blvd, Midvale, UT 84047
