CDL-A Semi-Local Truck Driver – Target Dedicated | GA & FL

Join a dedicated semi-local driving position based in Midway, GA, hauling consistent retail freight to Target stores throughout Georgia and Florida. Drivers average approximately 2,500 miles per week, get home most days, and operate assigned sleeper trucks on a reliable dedicated account.

Pay Details

$80,000.00 per year

Average Weekly Pay: $1,550
All training time is paid at $20.00 per hour
Stop pay is available for qualifying backhauls and unscheduled stops
Stop pay is not included for normal scheduled route stops

Job Details

Dedicated semi-local position based in Midway, GA
Operate throughout Georgia and Florida
Deliver retail freight to Target stores
Average approximately 2,500 miles per week
Pick up preloaded trailers from the distribution center in Midway, GA
95% drop-and-hook freight
5% live unload
No driver loading or unloading required
Backhauls required
Get home most days
Assigned International sleeper trucks
Assigned trucks must remain at the account during time off
Drivers must have reliable transportation to and from the account

Shift Details

Start times between 5:00 PM and 10:00 PM
Drivers are unable to select their start time
Shifts range from approximately 7 to 14 hours
Receive a 34-hour reset on an agreed-upon weekday
Reset day is based on account availability, with driver preference considered when possible
Resets will not be scheduled on weekends
Consistent time off after hire
Drivers are out approximately 3 nights per week in the truck
PTO begins accruing immediately at 1.5 hours per week
PTO accrual increases to 2.3 hours per week after 6 years
PTO accrual increases to 3 hours per week after 19 years
New drivers may not be guaranteed requested time off when first starting on the account

Job Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
No SAP Drivers
Minimum 6 months of truck driving experience
Reliable transportation to and from the account is required
Must meet all DOT, company, and account-specific hiring requirements
Safe driving record
