An exciting career awaits you at Pomerene Hospital. We are looking for a full-time Quality Assistant to join our team. Working hours for this position are 8:00AM - 4:30PM.

Position Summary:

The Quality Assistant plays a key role in coordinating and supporting the daily operations of the Quality Department, ensuring the efficient administration of department activities. Under the direction of the Director of Compliance, Quality, and Accreditation, the Quality assistant carries out delegated responsibilities and contributes to quality improvement initiatives. The position also serves as a backup to the Executive Assistant and provides administrative support to the Executive Team and Medical Staff, including credentialing and related clerical support.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain department files, databases, and records with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist with project coordination, data tracking, and reporting activities.
  • Support organizational initiatives and special projects as assigned.
  • Perform general administrative and clerical duties, including document preparation, filing, and record maintenance.
  • Provide back-up administrative support to other team members as needed.  
  • Works cooperatively with unit staff, physicians, and ancillary departments.
  •  Maintains high standards for professional practice and confidentiality.
  • Performs all tasks and duties of this position according to hospital and department policy and procedures.
  • Demonstrates commitment to Pomerene Hospital's Values.  

Education & Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent - required.
  • Degree in business, healthcare, or related field - preferred.
  • Previous healthcare/medical experience - preferred. 

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to use MS office products.
