Primary Purpose

This position will support the Controller and perform month-end close, daily and weekly reporting, administer the Project Costing system, capital expenditure request (CER) set-ups, account reconciliations, budgeting and maintaining general ledger accuracy and visibility to the appropriate internal stakeholders.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Completes month-end close functions including Journal entries and publishing month-end reports as well as account reconciliations. Prepares ad-hoc reporting as needed. Assists with month-end reporting and tracking commodity inventory.
  2. Maintains and supports Project Costing to include user support and assistance as needed.
  3. Schedules and prepares monthly cost reviews for customer visibility of details.
  4. Continues to learn about industry-developing competency and commitment.
  5. Promotes and maintains a safe and secure work environment in accordance with Mountaire policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 2 - 3 years' experience in a related field.
  • Proficient in Excel and the ability to learn new systems.
  • Demonstrated presentation skills.
