Your Role:
The Global Life Sciences initiative to consolidate business operations into a single SAP NEO ERP requires senior subject matter expertise in each functional area. In this role, you will serve as the Dangerous Goods (DG) Substream expert, responsible for designing business rules for the identification, storage, packaging, and distribution of materials regulated for transport. You will act as both a senior SME and the primary coordinator among the Global Dangerous Goods team, Global Packaging Compliance, and the Transportation Compliance and Operations Integration Program Manager to ensure regulatory and business requirements are incorporated into the global ERP design. As the DG substream expert, you will work on SAP NEO project streams impacted by DG requirements (e.g., Distribution, Transport Management), necessitating a mature end-to-end understanding of operations. You will coordinate the technical and operational inputs from various SMEs and substreams, translate them for developers, develop and validate critical DG scenarios, and document results in alignment with project timelines.

Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in chemistry or other life science focus
- Know-how of regulations concerning dangerous goods transport, storage, and GHS
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional accreditation in dangerous goods preferred
- Can translate regulatory language into technical instructions
- Extensive experience with SAP required; in-house understanding of legacy systems strongly preferred
- Outstanding technical writing skills
- Confident in enforcing regulatory compliance in large group settings
- Well-rounded understanding of global warehousing, distribution, transportation logistics
- Effective communication skills across technically variable audiences
- Strong problem solving skills
- Systems testing experience preferred (SAP)
- Solution oriented mindset
- Willing to travel for department meetings, workshops, training, and audits as needed
- Willingness to work cooperatively within a global team
- Team spirit, outstanding initiative, reliable
Pay Range for this position: $101,000-$169,700
The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
