What You'll Do

Technical & Service Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain Acorn stairlift systems in customers’ homes. 
  • Perform preventive maintenance and annual safety inspections while ensuring high-quality, reliable workmanship. 

Customer & Field Operations

  • Provide professional customer service by explaining repairs, equipment operation, and maintenance recommendations. 
  • Work independently throughout an assigned territory while managing schedules, work orders, documentation, and communication using a company-provided mobile device. 

Vehicle, Inventory & Safety

  • Maintain an organized company vehicle and accurately manage parts inventory to ensure supplies are available when needed. 
  • Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment while representing Acorn Stairlifts with professionalism and integrity.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong mechanical, electrical, or technical aptitude, with experience in field service, automotive repair, HVAC, appliance repair, maintenance, construction, or other technical trades preferred.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills, with the ability to work comfortably in residential homes.
  • Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and mobile applications for scheduling, documentation, and communication.
  • Ability to manage daily workloads, prioritize multiple service calls, and work independently.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
