Overview
Position Overview
At Unified Door & Hardware Group (UDHG), we’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Field Installer to support our commercial projects from the ground up. In this hands-on role, you’ll measure door openings, observe field work for quality and compliance, and help ensure accurate, timely installations. Working closely with our VP of Field Operations, you’ll play a vital role in bridging field and office operations, gaining exposure to all aspects of project execution.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate various office tasks such as data entry, answering phones, emails, and filing
- Provide administrative support and work closely with VP of Field Operations

- Measure door openings
- Maintains a set of marked-up record drawings for construction projects
- Observes work in progress to determine if procedures and materials comply with plans and specifications

- Schedule repair work orders
- Maintain accurate records for easy reference and reporting

- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
- Follow all safety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements to maintain a safe working environment
- Use proper lifting techniques
- Adhere to all driving regulations based on state and/or jurisdiction policies such as wearing a seatbelt
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes and clothing

- Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation, grasping and manipulationÂ
- Frequent driving or sitting in a truck, forklift or other similar equipment for multiple hours a day
- Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying building materials weighing approximately 100 pounds, using proper lifting procedures; and occasionally pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying greater weights. Pushing and pulling carts loaded carts over various distances and surfaces. Some functions may be performed as a team
- Additional physical requirements may be needed as duties are assigned

Qualifications
- Good knowledge of construction methods and procedures
- Self-starter with excellent communication and customer service skills
- Follow established safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Good time management skills, professional dress, and behavior
- Proficient in mS Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Knowledge of Hollow Metal Door and Frame experience a plus

The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost of living in the assigned market. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
