Registered Nurse (RN) Quality Manager

Status/FTE: FT / 1.0 FTE

Shift length: 8 or 10 hours

Start Time: 0800

Unit: Quality

Schedule Requirements (including weekends, holidays): Mon-Friday, with occasional weekends possible

 

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in related healthcare field
  • Possession of valid, current MT discipline specific licensure (or compact licensure as approved by the MT State Discipline specific board)
  • Three (3) years of acute care experience
  • One (1) year of Quality Improvement or related experience 
  • BLS
  • Proficient in English, verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills required

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Five (5) years of acute care experience
  • Two (2) years of Quality Improvement or related experience
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Certified Professional in-Patient Safety (CPPS) or similar certification preferred, or within one year of hire

 

Additional Information/Department information: The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing regulatory compliance with the facility in conjunction with the quality Director. The role requires a foundational understanding of The Joint Commission standards and CMS Conditions of Participation. The Quality Manager must be able to work independently with strong critical thinking and problem solving skills. The Quality Manager must be able to maintain confidentiality of all activities and date. This role requires strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders through the enterprise. The Quality Manager strives to uphold and advance Community Medical Center's Mission, Vision, and Values. All other duties as assigned.
