Position Overview

The Spa Therapist helps create the restorative side of the Sorrel River Ranch experience. This role provides thoughtful, personalized massage and wellness services while creating a calm, welcoming environment where guests can relax, recharge, and feel cared for.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their craft, connects naturally with guests, and understands that the little details—from the treatment itself to the cleanliness and feeling of the space—are all part of the experience.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional massage and wellness treatments that meet Sorrel standards.
• Create a warm, relaxing, and personalized experience for every guest.
• Maintain a clean, peaceful, organized, and guest-ready spa.
• Stay knowledgeable about spa treatments, services, and products.
• Support fellow therapists and work closely with the Front Office and Experience teams.
• Follow all treatment, health, safety, sanitation, and company standards.
• Complete daily spa checks and communicate any maintenance or operational needs.
• Assist with ordering, stocking, and maintaining spa supplies.
• Manage linens, towels, and back-of-house inventory.
• Help maintain the overall appearance and feeling of the spa.
• Be willing to step in and support the team wherever needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current Massage Therapist license required.
• Minimum of two years of massage therapy experience preferred.
• Additional wellness, bodywork, or spa experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine desire to provide exceptional guest service.
• Professional, personable, and comfortable connecting with a variety of guests.
• Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Previous luxury hospitality or resort spa experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform approximately 4–6 massages per day.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and move comfortably throughout the shift.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members.
• Ability to perform detailed work requiring visual accuracy.
• Comfortable working in an environment with moderate noise levels.
