Job Summary:Â
The Payroll Accounting Technician, Outsourced Finance & Accounting is responsible for supporting accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing. This role performs payroll activities across the end-to-end pay cycle, and helps ensure payroll data integrity, strong controls, and a positive client experience.
Job Duties:
- Collects, compiles, and enters payroll data using appropriate software
- Updates payroll records by entering changes including deductions, garnishments, and salary increases
- Processes payroll by established deadlines
- Interacts with client staff to gain information, documents and data necessary to complete assigned tasks
- Communicates significant client issues to supervisor

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Education
- High School Diploma, requiredÂ
Experience
- 1-3 years of payroll experience preferred
- 2+ years of customer service experience requiredÂ
- Experience working with tip reporting, multi-state payrolls, IRS letter responses, and garnishment calculations preferredÂ
License(s)/Certification(s)

- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word requiredÂ
