Summary

The Make Carton’s primary duty will review the carton requirements report for cartons needed.  Using the manual box maker, associate will make the required number of each type of box needed for wave.  Created boxes will be pushed to the pick rows or zones to be labeled.

• Review of the carton requirements reports for cartons needed
• Use the manual box maker, will make the required number of each type of box needed for wave.
• Push created boxes to the pick rows or zones to be labeled.
• Maintains work area in a clean and orderly manner
• Other job duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education/Experience

• Years of related experience - 1 year preferred
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred

Skills

• Must be able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must have good quality and good attendance

Physical Demands

• Occasional overhead reaching and lifting required
• Must be able to stand/walk continuously
• Must be able to carry up to 35 pounds consistently

Typical Working Conditions

• May work around equipment, such as conveyors and rolling stock, which could contain hazards.  Other exposures found in a distribution center such as high level of noise and dust may exist for this position.
