Job Summary: Assist in the setup, operation, and monitoring of production lines to manufacture fabric according to customer specifications while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards. Follow established procedures, monitor equipment performance, and support efficient production operations.

Safety:

Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Use materials, tools, and equipment according to manufacturer guidelines.
Maintain a safe and organized work area.
Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).


Quality:

Monitor product quality and report defects or abnormalities immediately.
Perform routine inspections according to quality procedures.
Review production information in MII and other operating systems as required.
Communicate quality concerns to the laboratory, team leads, and supervisors.
Follow established quality standards and work instructions.


Production:

Participate in shift handoff communications.
Work cooperatively within a team environment.
Support production activities as directed.
Communicate effectively with co-workers, operators, team leads, laboratory personnel, and supervisors.
Review work orders and assist with line clearances at shift start and product changeovers.
Verify product specifications and machine settings with guidance as needed.
Monitor line operation and notify supervision of abnormalities.
Assist with daily preventive maintenance activities.
Maintain recycling and reclaim material systems according to procedures.
Change extrusion screens as trained and authorized.
Maintain accurate production documentation and electronic records.
Perform other duties as assigned.


 Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
Basic math skills and problem-solving abilities.
Basic mechanical aptitude.





Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to learn manufacturing processes and equipment operation.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
Ability to frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.


 Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Dependability and strong work ethic.


Work Environment:

Work area is a manufacturing environment which is not climate-controlled year round with noise levels ranging from moderate to loud requiring hearing protection at all times.
