Driver, Jockey (Yard Dog 1st shift)

Description

The Yard Dog Driver is responsible for safely moving trailers and containers throughout the facility yard to support warehouse, shipping, receiving, and production operations. 

Requirements

• Previous yard truck, tractor-trailer, or similar equipment experience preferred. 
• Valid driver’s license required. 
• Ability to safely operate a yard truck in tight and congested areas. 
• Ability to climb in and out of equipment and perform frequent bending, walking, and standing. 
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. 
• Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions. 
• Strong safety awareness, communication, and attention to detail. 
• Availability to work assigned shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
