Job Summary:

Responsible for assembling customer product according to specific instruction. To build or repair all types, sizes, and shapes of cases, jigs, fixtures, and tools.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assembly of metal cases including insertion of rivets, brackets, and miscellaneous hardware.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and documentation.
  • Testing, inspection, and packaging of product.
  • Metal finishing, prototype running, and other metal case production work.
  • Once employee demonstrates competency in position, he/she may be required to train others in similar roles.
  • Assembly of metal cases including insertion of rivets, brackets, and miscellaneous hardware.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and documentation.
  • Testing, inspection, and packaging of product.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

LEAD RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Filling in for Cell Leaders
  • Provide guidance to personnel assigned to cell to ensure production needs are met.
  • Inspect product ensuring it complies with requirements at all stages and administer first piece checks.
  • Engages with support teams to resolve any production related issues.
  • Troubleshoot problems/issues in order to meet production needs.
  • Ensure all Part counts reconcile and that all data entries in Visual match the production travelers before product are moved.
  • Scheduling assistance/line manning assistance
  • Operator development and training/skills matrix.
  • Tooling/supply/material requests
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-marking, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.

 

Education:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED

 

Experience:

  • 0-3 years
  • Previous manufacturing experience using small hand tools preferred.

 

KSA's:

  • Good hand and eye coordination
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Ability to use calipers and micrometers
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to be a team player.
  • Well-versed with all work instructions & that pertain to all production areas in C&T.
  • Communicate updates to all Cell Leaders and other leads within C&T, all shifts.
