Job Summary:Â Perform bench-type processes to repair mechanical and electrical machinery, using hand-tools, electronic test equipment, service manuals and pneumatic tooling. Disassembly and Reassembly of motors, pumps and other pieces of equipment.
Responsibilities:Â
- Communicate with management regarding scheduling and motor shop issues, as well as giving feedback
- Repair, assembly and rebuild electric motors and small machineryÂ
- Evaluate/inspect/diagnose pumps, motors, and other electrical machinery
- Disassemble scrap motors, tools, etc.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
- Understand and complete proper documentation, test procedures and timekeeping
- Performs other related duties as required
Required Qualifications:Â
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong electrical & mechanical aptitude, maintenance, machinery repair background
- Ability to lift 50 pounds often
- Bending, twisting, reaching, etc.
