Service Contract Invoicing Manager, North America (Monroe, NC)
ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, an international manufacturer of automated door products, is seeking a Service Contract Invoicing Manager situated in the Corporate Headquarters office in Monroe, NC.
This position reports directly to the Invoicing Department Manager within the Finance Department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing leadership and overall ownership of the service contract invoicing function, ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing and PM Planning across the organization.
- Managing and continuously improving service contract invoicing processes, controls, and operational performance to support current business needs and future growth across North America.
- Partnering closely with the Receivables Department and branch operations to ensure invoicing requirements are met in accordance with contractual obligations and company standards.
- Serving as the primary point of escalation for invoicing-related issues, driving resolution for both internal and external customers.
- Supporting organizational initiatives and strategic objectives through process improvement, standardization, and operational efficiencies.
- Providing leadership, guidance, and support to team members while fostering a collaborative and customer-focused environment.
- Monitoring operational performance, identifying trends, and implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives as needed.
- Reviewing and analyzing reporting related to service contracts, invoicing activity, and customer service metrics to support informed decision-making.
- Collaborating with Finance, Operations, and branch leadership to ensure alignment of invoicing practices and business objectives.
- Supporting the reporting manager with departmental planning, special projects, and organizational initiatives.
- Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proven competence and knowledge of billing procedures, invoicing operations, and contract administration requirements.
- Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience (2+ years of billing, service contracts, customer service, or related experience; medical billing/coding experience a plus).
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and electronic spreadsheets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and adapt to changing business needs.
- Positive attitude and customer-focused mindset.
- Flexibility to work overtime during month-end and peak workload periods.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and influence team members.
- Experience analyzing operational and customer service-related reporting.

- Demonstrated leadership capability with experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating a small team.
- Ability to support and scale processes across multiple regions, including future North American operations.
