Summary

The EREV Production Manager oversees the EREV battery productivity and safety operation of assembly lines, planning and managing short and long-term objectives for assembly production and providing capacity and labor planning. This role will work for MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC. (MNAe).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)

  • Plan short and long-term objectives for the Production department
  • Provide capacity and labor planning for all manufacturing departments
  • Coordinate continuous improvement teams to achieve division goals in productivity improvements, quality improvements, and safety goals
  • Coordinate corrective action planning to ensure effective root cause analysis and proper implementation of improvement methods
  • Teach continuous improvement philosophy through monthly training
  • Provide conflict resolution for and coach Team Members
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental goals
  • Ensure departmental compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety rules
  • Oversee and provide counseling on proper progressive discipline per company policies
  • Initiate reporting systems to monitor department performance
  • Minimize overtime of all assigned Team Members
  • Plan and conduct continuous improvement training of supervisory personnel
  • Maintain personnel headcount according to the business plan
  • Conduct annual evaluations (MBO) of supervisory personnel
  • Follow and promote safety in the workplace, including attendance at safety meetings as well as conducting safety meetings when necessary

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • + 5 years of management experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to take decisive action in a fast-paced environment
