We are looking for a reliable, organized, and compassionate professional to join our team in a dual-role position as an Admissions Coordinator & Medical Records Clerk.
Admissions Coordinator Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate new resident admissions
- Review referral and admission documentation for completeness
- Communicate with hospitals, physicians, families, residents, and referral sources
- Assist with insurance verification and authorization processes
- Maintain accurate admission records and documentation
- Ensure a smooth and welcoming admission experience for residents and families
- Coordinate with nursing, social services, therapy, business office, and other departments
Medical Records Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medical records
- File, scan, organize, and retrieve clinical documentation
- Assist with medical record audits and regulatory compliance
- Ensure required documentation is obtained and maintained
- Process requests for medical records in accordance with privacy regulations
- Support the clinical team with documentation and record management
We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Professional, dependable, and able to multitask
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Strong in communication and customer service
- Knowledgeable about HIPAA and maintaining confidentiality
- Experienced in skilled nursing, long-term care, healthcare admissions, or medical records preferred
- Previous healthcare or skilled nursing experience is a plus!
