About Our Opportunity

We are seeking safety minded team members with an attention to detail for our state of the art printing department on 2nd shift (3P-11P). The Printer is required to operate a printing press (Board Printing - Soma). The Printer is relied upon to produce a product that meets established quality standards by printing to proof.

Responsibilities

• Preparing the press for scheduled runs.
• Mounting raw plate, napkin or label stock to the press.
• Determining formulation of inks needed for printer and transferring them into printing stations.
• Making correct pressure adjustments for printing cylinders to attain necessary print.
• Ensuring correct alignment of web.
• Accomplishing any necessary adjustments during the run.
• Removing finished roll from rewind stand at completed run.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand basic written and oral instructions.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to communicate with management and coworkers in order to meet departmental goals.
• Ability to determine colors.
• High school diploma or general education degree required.
• Printing experience no required - will train.
• Prior machine operation experience required.
• Prior manufacturing experience required.
• Any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
