Position: Corporate Quality Systems & Certifications Manager
Location: Headquarters – Moon Township, PA

Hours of work: Full-time position with hours Monday-Friday 9:00-5:00


The Corporate Quality Systems & Certifications Manager is responsible for the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company's Quality Management System (QMS) and third-party certification programs across U.S. operations. This role serves as the primary owner of ISO 9001 and product certification programs, including NSF, Kosher, Halal, and other applicable certifications, ensuring ongoing compliance, audit readiness, and certification integrity. The position provides leadership to a small team and partners closely with Operations, Regulatory, R&D, Supply Chain, and Commercial functions to support business objectives and customer requirements.
 
 
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to)

  • Lead all certification-related activities for NSF, Kosher, Halal, and other product or facility certifications
  • Serve as the primary liaison with certification bodies, auditors, and external agencies
  • Lead and develop direct reports, establishing goals, priorities, and professional development plans
  • Develop and maintain corporate policies, procedures, and quality system documentation
  • Partner with site quality teams to ensure consistent implementation of quality system and certification requirements
  • Track certification status, audit performance, corrective actions, and key quality metrics
  • Coordinate and manage internal, external, customer, and certification audits, ensuring timely resolution of findings 
  • Own and maintain the corporate ISO 9001 Quality Management System, including procedures, document control, management review, and continuous improvement activities
  • Monitor regulatory, industry, and certification standard changes and implement necessary updates to company programs
  • Provide training and guidance to employees regarding quality system and certification requirements
     

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university is required (Quality Management, Food Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Business, or a related discipline)
  • A master’s degree or equivalent is preferred
  • 5-7 years of experience managing and/or administering Quality Management Systems (QMS), including ISO 9001 is required
  • 7-10 years of experience with Quality, Quality Systems, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Compliance, or related functions is required
  • Experience planning, leading, and supporting internal, external, customer, and certification audits is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience managing third-party certification programs, such as NSF, Kosher, Halal, or similar certification schemes is preferred
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Operations, Regulatory, R&D, Supply Chain, Sales, and Commercial teams is preferred
