We have an opportunity for an Occupational Health Nurse to join our Moorpark, CA team. You will apply professional nursing principles and procedures and partners with EH&S to identify, prevent, investigate, and treat workplace related illnesses and injuries for the promotion, restoration, and maintenance of optimum health of all employees at the facility. Lead projects and vendor interactions. Plan EHS activities and participate in environmental sustainability activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with site leadership to develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and wellness programs.
  • Provide training on ergonomics, injury reporting, back safety, bloodborne pathogens, and related safety topics.
  • Support accident investigations, manage workers' compensation claims, and coordinate return-to-work programs.
  • Provide first aid and coordinate medical treatment and follow-up care for work-related injuries and illnesses.
  • Administer occupational health programs, including hearing conservation, wellness initiatives, immunizations, and leave-of-absence processes.
  • Maintain OSHA logs, compliance records, audits, and required federal, state, and corporate reporting.
  • Coordinate and manage vendors and programs related to first aid supplies, PPE, safety shoes, vision services, and other health and safety resources.
  • Support industrial hygiene activities, exposure monitoring, noise reduction efforts, and EHS data management processes.
  • Collect, analyze, and report safety and compliance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and drive corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with EHS policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with EHS and HR initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications

  • Nurse or EMT certification required.
  • 3-5 years of occupational health, triage, or employee health experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations, occupational health and safety standards, workers' compensation, leave management, and EHS management systems.
  • Ability to conduct hazard and risk assessments and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Project.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships at all levels of the organization.

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $78100 - $145000 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus.
