Job DetailsJob Location: 92 - Morgantown Ag Service - Morgantown, WV 26505BENEFITS: · Health Insurance · 401(K) Matching · Paid Time Off · Disability Insurance · Opportunities for Advancement     Bruceton Ag Services - General Manager   Reporting Relationship: Director of Operations     Basic Function: The General Manager is responsible for the entire store operations, including program execution and product implementation along with maximizing store efficiencies, inventory control, receiving and displaying of products, pleasant and helpful customer service, preparation of schedules, maintenance, and follow-up in the assigned store.  Essential Skills and Responsibilities:   Provides top quality, fast, efficient, and friendly service. Understands the needs of customers and tailors service to customer needs. Handles customer issues/returns and ensures complete satisfaction at store level. Learns team effectiveness skills; delegates work to achieve team goals Knowledge of products and making suggestions to fulfill the customer’s needs Communicate effectively with team members and customers Read, write, and count accurately to ensure all documentation is properly completed Operate and use all equipment necessary to run a store such as a dolly, hand-truck, fork lift, computer, and cash register Orders inventory; Unloads and stocks inventory items as needed Performs duties at multiple workstations as needed to ensure efficiency in store operations Squat, bend, stoop and climb ladders Stand and walk for long periods of time  Move and transfer merchandise generally weighing 0-50 lbs. throughout the store Work varied hours, days, night and weekends as business dictates, plus extra shifts during peak seasons Responds to guests' needs in a professional and polite manner Develop the product knowledge and sales techniques of the team Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the building and grounds   Qualifications5.     Qualifications:   2+ years in retail management experience Computer knowledge in Excel and Word Proficient User of computer software systems Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently without supervision Flexibility with hours: ability to work long hours, days, nights, and weekends                  Perform such similar, comparable, or related duties as may be required or assigned.
