Live haul drivers hold a Class A CDL transporting birds between poultry farms and processing plants allowing for local, home-daily routes. This position typically works 12-14 hours a night and earns approximately $2,000/weekly. Typical shift start time is 8 pm to midnight. Â
- Comply with the Department of Transportation (DOT) safety rules and regulations, Company policies and local, state and federal policies, laws and procedures.
- Transport live birds from the farm to the plant.
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure load is secured properly.
- Complete required documentation.
- Maintain truck cleanliness.
- Any other relevant duties to the job.
- Class A Commercial Driver's License required.
- 1+ year(s) of verifiable commercial driving experience required.
- Clean motor vehicle driving record required.
