Role Overview:Ā
The Sales AgronomistĀ IIĀ willĀ be responsible forĀ managing existing and attracting new customers within the sales territory,Ā assistingĀ customers with proper product selection and use based on agronomic needs, andĀ maintainingĀ and developing profitable customer relationships.Ā

Maintain and develop profitable customer relationships.Ā Ā Ā
IdentifyĀ new key customers, understand their businesses, determine their needs, and support the team in achievingĀ salesĀ goals andĀ growth.Ā Ā Ā
AssistĀ withĀ territory budgeting, forecasting,Ā and analysis.Ā Ā
Follow credit policies andĀ manageĀ risksĀ for the company.Ā Ā
CoordinateĀ an annualĀ business plan thatĀ optimizesĀ growth and profitability for theĀ territory andĀ gainsĀ theĀ managerās approval.Ā Ā Ā
Implement marketing and sales plans;Ā meet sales goals;Ā andĀ network with industry representatives to expand sales opportunities.Ā
BeĀ theĀ primaryĀ customer contact for deliveries, forecasting, credit, complaint handling, and custom applications, bringing issues to management's attention.Ā Ā
What You Bring toĀ the Role:Ā Ā Ā Ā
3+ yearsĀ of experienceĀ
Ability to work independentlyĀ Ā
Willingness to travelĀ throughout the territory and to periodic sales meetingsĀ
Knowledge of herbicides and fertilizers (dry and liquid)Ā
Developing a working knowledge of local agricultural crops and market practicesĀ Ā Ā
Proficient with computers,Ā utilizingĀ MicrosoftĀ OfficeĀ and Windows applicationsĀ
Agronomy/Agribusiness degreeĀ

Compensation and Benefits:Ā
In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $52,400 - $69,880. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience.Ā Ā Ā
This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, and retirement plan participation, including an employer contribution of up to 7% into your 401(k).
