We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and clinically skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our growing team. This role is instrumental in providing assessments, therapeutic interventions, treatment planning, and ongoing support to individuals and families.


Position Summary

The Mental Health Therapist works under the direction of the Clinical Manager or Clinical Director to provide high-quality behavioral health services. The successful candidate will conduct assessments, facilitate therapy, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support positive client outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive initial and ongoing assessments to identify treatment needs.
  • Develop individualized treatment and case management plans in collaboration with clients.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy services, as appropriate and under supervision when required.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and professional clinical documentation and case notes.
  • Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Communicate and coordinate care with internal staff, probation officers, referral sources, and other professionals.
  • Participate in weekly treatment team meetings and case reviews.
  • Develop discharge and aftercare plans to support long-term recovery and wellness.
  • Collaborate with insurance providers regarding treatment authorization and related matters.
  • Assist with annual audits and preparation of required clinical documentation.
  • Transport clients to appointments or program-related activities when necessary.
  • Represent TPC Wellness in court proceedings when required.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to enhance programs and service delivery.
  • Complete required training and maintain compliance with licensure and professional standards.
  • Support other departments and assist with organizational initiatives as needed.


Required Qualifications



Licensure

Candidates must hold a current and valid Ohio license in one of the following:

  • LSW (Licensed Social Worker)
  • LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor)
  • LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor)
  • LPCC-S (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision Designation)
  • LISW (Licensed Independent Social Worker)
  • LISW-S (Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervision Designation)


Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in: Social Work, Health Services, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field required.
  • Master's Degree preferred.


Additional Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass all required background checks and maintain compliance with organizational policies.
