POSITION: Warehouse Specialist
LOCATION: Andover, MA
REPORTS TO: Fabrication & Distribution Supervisor
OBJECTIVE: Be a valuable team member of Verrex and its Shipping and Receiving department; to enable Verrex to maintain its reputation for quality and leadership in the Audio-Visual industry.
COMPENSATION: Non-exempt (hourly), monthly cell phone stipend.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Warehouse:
- Receive and organize all project and inventory related materials in designated areas
- Purge job shelves according to deletion reports
- Pick/Pull Tickets and Ship Requests
- Use common carriers to ship materials using proper packaging
- Verify items to be shipped with Field Technician or delivery person
- Return items deleted from jobs to vendors for credit
- Track packages as needed and communicate appropriately
- Schedule Shipments via Common Carrier
- Ability to operate a pallet jack and regularly lift a minimum of 75 pounds
- Maintain and restock shop, office, kitchen and restroom supplies as needed
- Miscellaneous maintenance around the office
- Deliveries and Driving
a. Frequent deliveries in the Boston metro area
b. Occasional deliveries to and from our HQ office in Mountainside, NJ
c. Verify:
- All products/packaging are not damaged during delivery
- Ship Work Order and product received for delivery match.
- Get authorized signatures for delivery from Verrex Tech/Subcontractor or Customer Contact
- Vehicle Maintenance- oil changes, cleanliness, general care for delivery van
- General Requirements:
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
- Ability to use computers for receiving, shipping orders, and email for company communication.
- High school diploma
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Experience driving a 16-to-25-foot box truck.
