Position Summary Â
Â
The Maintenance Supervisor leads a team of technically skilled employees that are responsible for equipment availability, and performance.Perform preventative maintenance and repair on a variety of electro-mechanical, robotic, and pneumatic manufacturing equipment. Develop and maintain maintenance schedules for all tools, machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing facility. Perform supporting activities for engineering and manufacturing including 5S and Lean manufacturing activities, line improvements, production line configuration, and safety procedures. Manage workload with a positive attitude as a hands-on team player in a collaborative work environment.Â

Essential Functions/Key Deliverables  Â
Â
Develop and maintain a constant safety environment and provide necessary training updates while striving for zero incidents and full compliance with OSHA and plant standards.Â
Provide effective supervision, training and coaching to assigned maintenance employees to achieve the required equipment up time, equipment repairs, and production goalsÂ
Ensure that standard operating procedures and engineering/maintenance procedures are current, accurate and that all work is done in compliance to ensure maximum qualityÂ
Monitor to ensure the maintenance employees assigned to you comply with Environmental, Health & Safety, and Food Safety standards as set forth in plant policies/programsÂ
Work with employees to resolve technical and machine problems.Â
Schedule, monitor and track preventive maintenance to effectively meet production needsÂ
Ensure accurate spare parts inventory and on-site availability to support equipment repairs and upgradesÂ
Provides and plans technical trainingÂ
Assist Operation efforts to continually improve OEE and Spoilage resultsÂ
Enforce safe work practicesÂ
Participates in the department strategic planning process and ensures appropriate skills are available when neededÂ
Establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department, the plant, and the company. Includes ability to handle stress and to interact with others to establish and maintain a positive and productive work environment and minimize personal conflicts.Â

Knowledge/Skills/Experience Â
Â
Associates or bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or significant experience in a related/similar field Â
Strong preventive maintenance development experience, based on TPM principles a plusÂ
Must be able to motivate/lead others, deal with ambiguity, have a results-driven mind-set, good decision-making skills, and excellent communication skillsÂ
5 years job related experience in a food safety manufacturing environmentÂ
2 years supervisory/leadership experienceÂ
Able to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities, establish and achieve goalsÂ
Proficient with Microsoft Office: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.Â
