Job Title: Staff Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team. This role involves managing various accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting the finance department's operations.

Responsibilities

• Enter Accounts Payable (AP) invoices into the accounting system.
• Post expense reports into the accounting system.
• Disburse credit card statements, receive receipts from said statements, and post the associated journal entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations and prepaid reconciliations.
• Assemble and print the weekly check run.
• Make journal entries into the General Ledger (GL).

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in accounting and general ledger processes.
• Experience with reconciliations, including bank reconciliations.
• Ability to perform month-end journal entries.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills.

Work Environment

The position will begin with two months onsite training, followed by a hybrid work schedule allowing two days in the office per week. The company offers a relaxed work environment with opportunities for growth and development.

This is a Permanent position based out of Mount Pleasant, SC.

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $70000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

240 Hours of PTO 4% 401k match Health, Vision, and Dental

This is a hybrid position in Mount Pleasant,SC.

This position is anticipated to close on Sep 11, 2026.
