A Sales Associate is responsible for the end-to-end sales process as guided by the Sales Representative(s) s/he supports. This includes order integrity/management, pricing, vendor communication, clearing of shipments (freight questions), and assisting in claim initiation and resolution.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Serve as a communication hub between Sale, customer/vendor and support teams
Stay knowledgeable on our portfolio of products
- Recommend products and programs to our customer base that would help them enrich their offering
Maintain and build relationships with Sales organization and customers.
Provide front line support to internal and external customers
Drive order integrity of customer accounts throughout the entire business year. This involves, but is not limited to, order management, shipping, subs and cuts, pricing and claims and returns
Manage orders from start to finish including sourcing product, order entry, verifying acknowledgements, vendor confirmation, editing orders, status checks, and order changes
Process orders and confirmations to assist the sales reps and customer service team
Respond to customer inquiries regarding their shipments or invoices for their products
Responsible for preparing and maintaining database of customer contacts
Participate in special projects and assignments as requested

Desired Background/Attributes:

A degree in Horticulture, Botany, or related field or an equivalent number of years of experience in the Horticulture/Floraculture industry.
