Responsible for managing and overseeing employee benefits programs, ensuring that they meet the needs of both the organization and its employees. This role involves working closely with clients and producers to design, implement, and manage benefit plans,Ā providingĀ expert advice, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.Ā AdditionalĀ responsibilities include support for the sales & service teams using a variety of skills and knowledge of the insurance market, products, and competition. Provides a source of insuranceĀ expertiseĀ and strategic analysis to clients and prospects.Ā Ā Ā

How You Will Contribute:āÆāÆĀ
Client Management:Ā Ā
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients to include developing andĀ maintainingĀ strong relationships by understanding their needs and goals. Address and resolve client inquiries, issues, and concernsĀ in a timely manner.Ā
Coordinate and manage the marketing process for all clients in assigned book of business by preparing customer renewals and new business strategies, including proposals and presentations while ensuring agreements withĀ customerĀ requests and requirements.Ā
Benefits Administration:Ā
Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs by monitoring and managing the enrollment, eligibility, and service requests.Ā
Collaborate with insurance carriers and benefits providers to ensure smooth implementation and operation of benefit plans.Ā
Plan Design and Data Analytics:Ā
Conduct market research and analysis to recommend competitive benefits offerings.Ā Ā AssistĀ in the design and customization of employee benefits packages to align with organizational goals and employee needs.Ā
Generate reports onĀ benefitsĀ usage, trends, and costs to provide insights for decision-making when data is available.Ā Analyze data to assess the effectiveness of benefits programs and identify areas for improvement.Ā
Compliance and Regulation:Ā
Ensure that all employee benefits programsĀ comply withĀ federal, state, and local regulations.Ā
Stay updated on changes in benefits-related laws and regulations and adjust programs accordingly. This may include managing benefit audits and reporting requirements.Ā Ā
Vendor Management:Ā Ā
Manage relationships withĀ benefitsĀ vendors and service providers.Ā
Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms for the organization.Ā
Ā
Licenses & Certifications:āÆāÆĀ
āÆFlorida Life & Health Insurance license (2-15) withinĀ 30 daysĀ of hire.Ā
Ā
Skills & Experience to be Successful:āÆĀ
Minimum of high school diploma or general education degree (GED).Ā
3+ years of experience in account management, client services, orĀ relatedĀ field.Ā Ā
Valid driverās license.Ā
Proficient with MS Office Suite and Excel.Ā
Organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.Ā Ā
Ability toĀ maintainĀ a high levelĀ of confidentiality.Ā
Travel may beĀ required.Ā
PreferredĀ
AssociateāsĀ or Bachelorās in a business or financial related discipline or experience in lieu of degree.Ā
Professional designation.Ā
Minimum typing speed of 40 to 50 words per minute.Ā
Agency Management System knowledge.
