What You'll Do
- Deliver skilled physical therapy under the direction of a licensed PT and in line with the physician's plan of care
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises to build mobility, strength, balance, and function
- Track and document patient progress toward treatment goals
- Teach patients and caregivers safe techniques and home exercise programs
- Complete clinical notes and progress reports accurately and on time
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses, and caregivers as part of a coordinated care team
- Take part in case conferences and care planning as needed
What You Bring
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active PTA license in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
- Home health, rehab, or skilled nursing experience a plus, not required
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
