Role:






The Commercial Loan Coordinator supports the commercial lending team throughout the loan process, from origination through closing. Key responsibilities include:
• Providing front-desk coverage and responding to inbound communications from members and branches
• Maintaining accurate loan documentation and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Delivering timely reports and administrative support to the Commercial Loan Services Manager
• Managing multiple priorities while facilitating clear, efficient communication among internal departments, lenders, and clients.











Essential Functions & Responsibilities:





- Supports branches and members with timely inbound/outbound communications. Coordinate department loan closings schedule addresses member concerns or questions in a timely manner. Run delinquencies reports and make initial collection calls on delinquent accounts in partnership with Collections department.
- Assist with member loan closings and prepare loan packages for review by a loan officer. Coordinate with members, clients, underwriters, attorneys, appraisers, and title companies to support timely processing and closing of loans. Review the loan package for completeness and monitor the loan closing checklist. Timely manages the appraisal function within the department including ordering, reviewing the appraisals for compliance and completeness.
- Partner with the Business Development Officer and Ecommerce to educate members about business banking, online needs and products. Assist with cross training within department on core system and business applications.
- Input and update loan information in the lending system and core system and maintain accurate records. Book loans in core system and LoanVantage. Assist with loan files, audits, monitoring titles, Mortgages, UCC filings and Tax Escrows.
- Manage vendor invoice payments. Accurately process and apply payments and participation loans. Initiate wires to send participation funds. Accurately prepares and balance GL recon reports.
- Provide administrative support to loan officers and managers as needed.

- Prepares other reports as needed within the department. Maintain procedures for the role and update a needed.
- Timely and accurate monthly 1502 reporting of SBA loans through the SBA portal and initiate wires to SBA. Remain current with technology used by the department to assist the members.
- Continue personal development and learning in role. Performs other related duties, as assigned.











Knowledge and Skills:






Experience
Three years to five years of similar or related experience.












Education
(1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.

















Interpersonal SkillsWork involves contact with persons beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors), requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information.




















Other Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with loan processing systems (e.g., Fiserv or Jack Henry) is a plus. Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

















Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 20 pounds, ability to bend and reach.
